Endpoint 2015 – API Developers Conference

Event Info

About Endpoint

The conference is by API developers, for API developers. We have two tracks with a mix of generic and platform specific talks; the conference is designed in such a way that whether you’re a PHP, Ruby, Python, .NET or other platform developer, or whether you develop APIs for apps, websites or other clients, there’s always a session that should be of interest. The schedule contains many industry experts and can be found here. The venue is epic, it’s the 1920′s classic Tuschinski Theater in Amsterdam. We expect around 250 attendees.

Target audience

Endpoint is targeted at developers working with API/backend technology. There will be talks targeted at a specific platform and talks of a more platform independent nature. We welcome independent developers, freelancers and developers working for a company – It doesn’t matter who you are or where you work, if you work with API technology you’ll enjoy this conference.

We organize all our conferences in the most inspiring community for developers: Appsterdam. Founded by Mike Lee, appsterdam is a growing European community of app developers located in or near Amsterdam. Visit the Appsterdam website for more information about this vibrant community of developers or to become a member. The conference is open to a world wide audience and we hope it will be an opportunity for many developers to get a sense of the great atmosphere in Appsterdam!

As for the venue, we looked hard to find a location that is easy to reach but also inspiring. The conference will be held in the Tuschinski Theater. According to wikipedia it is ‘considered one of the most beautiful cinemas in the world’. This means that we’ll not only have presentations literally on the big screen, it means we’ll have comfy chairs to enjoy the conference. We were also very interested in this venue because of its excellent ‘hallway track’. This unofficial track in between or during sessions where you meet other developers and speakers is just as valuable as the main content tracks, and Tuschinski is a great place to talk to people or to just hang out.

Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and staff members are required to adhere to our Conference Code of Conduct so we can ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Sponsorship opportunities

We have various opportunities for companies to sponsor Endpoint. We have silver, gold and bronze sponsorship packages as well as a few special sponsorship opportunities. Of course we also have the ability to do something custom or special: given an audience of talented developers, tell us what you want to achieve and how you think we can help you achieve that.
